It's designed for you to create personalized heavy texture shades by blending them with our Acrylic Colors collection. The term "clear" here refers to its lack of pigment, not drying clear, allowing for true color customization.
It goes on glossy wet but dries to an eggshell, subdued sheen. Achieving a true matte finish without resorting to harsh, toxic chemicals is tough to formulate. So, we've used organic marble dust as our matting agent, the best option we've found so far. Matte Clear Heavy Texture is ideal for sculptural and impasto techniques, glazing with transparent acrylics, and mixed media art. Availability is limited to this single batch, so grab yours quickly. This is an experimental leap, and we're doing our best to manage expectations—this is as close to matte as we can get without compromising quality.

- Dry Time: Our paints are water-based, okay? We’ll put it this way, a thick layer of Heavy Texture will cure faster than a thin layer of oil paint. Expect variability in drying times and for the love of god, purchase a cheap plugin fan to speed up drying times.
- Firm Pricing: Prices are set to reflect the quality and care we put into our paints. We don’t offer discounts—our goal is to keep our pricing fair and straightforward.

4 easy steps to pipe heavy texture
1. Snip It
Cut a small piece off the bag, about 3/4 of an inch. Cut further as needed to increase flow of paint.
2. Twist it
Use dominant hand to twist the top until bag feels firm. Apply steady pressure to force air pockets outs.
3. Squeeze it
Guide the nozzle with one hand, applying pressure with the other to control paint thickness and shape.
4. Clip It
Flatten the open end and clip it for short-term storage. For long-term, transfer to airtight container.
