Our Medium Violet Heavy Body Texture is dramatic, and outgoing. The charm of this violet is in its amethyst coloring, great for flowers, or adding a bit of theater to a night sky. Think of an orchid, or the viola flowers, from which the word violet takes its name. When combined with Titanium White, this acrylic's deep red undertones give a wide range of shades, and is great for sculpting life like plants on or off the easel. We worked hard to nail down this color so it doesn't dry too dark. Made up of Quinacridone Violet pigments and Titanium white, we did the hard work to nail this mixture so you don't have to. The value of this Heavy Body Texture comes from its ability to stand out when needed, or stay subtle when not. We often use it in our abstract florals.

A perfect balance of Quinacridone Violet and Titanium White pigments. We add the white to give the color its characteristic undertones, to avoid homogenized color, and avoid it drying to dark.
