Light Phthalo Blue Heavy Texture
Description
With this Light Phthalo Blue, we've done the work for you. We found the perfect ratio of Titanium White to Phthalo Blue pigments, mixing the paints ourselves, so you can get to painting. We made this lighter blue great for those spots where a normal Phthalo Blue is just too dark. Think of a bright day on a pale sea, or the sky at high noon on a cloudless day.
We like to use it in seascapes, and for adding subtle definitions without overpowering its surroundings. Make wild waves with palette knife techniques, or add a dash of blue to flower scenes.
This blue is balanced, and comfortable. Light Phthalo Blue is opaque, with excellent lightfastness, meaning it won't diminish over time. Justin Gaffrey Sr.’s portfolio boasts an array of seascapes, ocean scenes, and natural backdrops. He set out to nail down this color, so he wouldn't have to waste time mixing when a piece called for a lighter Phthalo Blue. We're so happy to present it to you as well.
This color contains Phthalo Blue and Titanium White pigments. Together these two give you the light fastness of Titanium white, as well as the high tinting strength and assortments of shades allotted by Phthalo Blue.

4 easy steps to pipe heavy texture
1. Snip It
Cut a small piece off the bag, about 3/4 of an inch. Cut further as needed to increase flow of paint.
2. Twist it
Use dominant hand to twist the top until bag feels firm. Apply steady pressure to force air pockets outs.
3. Squeeze it
Guide the nozzle with one hand, applying pressure with the other to control paint thickness and shape.
4. Clip It
Flatten the open end and clip it for short-term storage. For long-term, transfer to airtight container.
sculpt with paint
Achieve multicolored compositions up to six inches instantly, with lasting color fidelity and durability.
Mix Paints, not mediums
Effortlessly mix Heavy Texture with Acrylic Colors, avoiding the need for costly thickening mediums that can lead to cracking, discoloration, or drooping.
Cost effective
Our in-house manufacturing cuts out the middleman, allowing emerging artists to experiment freely without the high costs.

How long does it take to dry?
Drying time varies based on humidity, temperature, and paint thickness. Takes about 60-90 minutes to dry to the touch and at least 5-7 days to fully dry. Use fans to speed up drying.
