This yellow is bright, bold, and beautiful. It also mixes perfectly to make other beautiful colors. The texture is great for painting on its own, or combining it with Gaffrey heavy texture. I don't think I've ever found paint I enjoy more. All of Gaffrey paints have brought back the excitement for painting I lost somewhere over the years. I don't remember being more excited about receiving a package. (As an adult.) I would recommend for first time painters or old pros. (I really don't usually get excited about products but this just reignited the kid/artist in me.)
