I Fell in "LOVE" with Gaffrey's Heavy Texture Acrylic Paint and 9pcs Palette Knife Set

I purchased the 9pc palette knife set and Heavy Textured Acrylic Paint from Gaffrey, and let me express how thrilled I am with my purchase! Initially drawn to the palette knife set for its captivating color and the gold accents (Chef's Kiss), I was pleasantly surprised when they not only looked beautiful but also demonstrated exceptional quality. It's safe to say, I feel like a modern-day Picasso, but in 3D!

My admiration extends to Gaffrey's Heavy Texture Paint, a product that has truly won me over. The texture is incredibly smooth, creamy, and delightfully soft, reminiscent of my days spent decorating cakes and crafting cake pops. As someone with a background in cake decorating, the experience of working with Gaffrey's heavy texture paint brings back the joy of creating intricate designs. Unlike edible creations that vanish in seconds, Gaffrey's paint ensures my artistic endeavors endure over time. With a playful touch reminiscent of a child in a cake bakery, I'm thoroughly enjoying the lasting beauty that Gaffrey Paint adds to my creations. "Don't Eat Paint" has become my mantra, ensuring my artworks remain cherished for years to come, all thanks to Gaffrey Paint!

If you're using the paint, use the knives!

Assuming you got the paint because you want to really recreate the types of texture that Justin Gaffrey showcases (because same) let me save you some time: get the knives. They're more flexible than regular painting knives which I 1. Didn't realize at first and 2. Didn't know mattered - but it makes a HUGE difference. I struggle with tremors already, but the stiffness of other blades was making it incredibly difficult to work with the paint they way I wanted because you have to be SO careful with an inflexible blade not to smush it all together and flat and ultimately, far too well mixed and lacking the character and contrast that comes from a lighter stroke.

Also they're WAY cheaper, and the handles aren't all chipped and peeling like some of my more expensive palette knives. Fortunately they don't get a ton of use anymore so it's a non-issue - but save yourself the frustration aand cash and get the good ones made to work well with the paint!!
