Shipping policy
Domestic Shipping: Please allow 24-72 hours for your order to be packaged and shipped from our facility. Orders placed before 1pm CST should be received within 2-5 business days after your order has been packed. Orders placed on Saturdays, Sundays, or public holidays are handled on the Monday or the first working day after. (Working days exclude Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays). Please contact us if your order doesn't arrive by the fifth day. Expedited shipping will NOT be validated until your order is fulfilled. Meaning if you purchased one-day shipping on Monday, it will not arrive the next day.
Free shipping: When you spend $95 or more, receive free shipping from the carrier of our choice for the contiguous United States (48 states), excludes Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico,the US Virgin Islands, and countries outside of the U.S. Please allow 24-72 hours for your order to be packaged and shipped from our facility. Orders placed before 1pm CST should be received within 2-5 business days after your order has been packed. Orders placed over the weekend are dispatched on Mondays. Limited time only. (Excludes oversized wood panels)
Lost or Stolen Packages: Please be advised that Gaffrey Art Material assumes no liability for packages lost or stolen during transit. In the event that you suspect your package has been misplaced or taken, we strongly recommend that you promptly file a claim with the carrier. Furthermore, for additional assistance, kindly reach out to our customer service team and provide your claim number so that we may be of further assistance.
Cold Weather Acrylic Paints are water-based and subject to freeze in temperatures below 32 degrees during transit. gaffrey art material is NOT responsible for any cold damage the paints may experience during shipping.
Although insulated packaging does not guarantee a safe arrival in freezing temperatures, it definitely helps and they are available in the shop to add to your purchase. Please be aware of your climate. We hold orders with a future ship date but please contact us ahead of time.
International Shipping Policy
We value our international customers and are pleased to offer our top-quality artist acrylic paints worldwide. However, international shipping of liquid products comes with risks and responsibilities. Please carefully review this International Shipping Policy, which outlines terms and conditions for international orders, including our stance on lost, damaged, missing, or defective items.
Customer Responsibility
1. Risk and Liability: By placing an order with international shipping, you accept responsibility for the secure and timely delivery of your package. While we ensure your order leaves our facility in perfect condition, once it's with the carrier, the risk and liability for any loss or damage during transit are yours.
2. Lost or Damaged Packages: In the unfortunate event of loss or damage during transit, Gaffrey Art Materials is not liable. We recommend considering shipping insurance or requesting additional protective packaging at an extra cost to safeguard against such issues.
3. Missing or Defective Products: For orders with missing, defective, or damaged items due to manufacturing problems, we'll provide a full refund for the product’s retail value. Gaffrey Art Material will not return shipping, tax, or duty fees. Please note, we don't offer replacements for international order. If you would like your items replaced, you must place a new order on our website.
Shipping Costs and Returns
1. Shipping: All international orders are shipped via Fedex, UPS, and DHL. The method and cost are determined by items ordered, weight, size and destination. Free shipping does not apply to international orders. Orders are fulfilled within 2-3 business days from the time your order was placed. Shipping notifications will be sent via your purchase email.
2. Returns Process: To initiate a return within 30 days of receiving your order, contact our customer support team. Follow the provided instructions for a smooth return process. Customers are responsible for the return shipping fee based on the order items and destination. Gaffrey Art Material will not return shipping, tax, or duty fees.
Customs, Duties, and Taxes
The duties and import taxes at checkout are automatically calculated by the following factors:
the product’s declared value and shipping costs
the product category as determined by the HS code (Harmonized Item Description and Coding System)
the country or region of origin
the destination country's tariff rates
applicable trade treaties
Orders default to Delivered duty paid (DDP), where we are liable for import costs like duties, taxes, or brokerage fees. DDP helps avoid shipping delays. Note that not all orders are subject to these costs; many countries have a de minimis value before duties and import taxes apply. Check your country's tax authority or consult a local tax expert for de minimis value information.
