This competition celebrates the joy of creating art (not consuming it) and gives you complete creative freedom to show us what "Don't Eat Paint" means to you.
How To enter
1. Purchase
Buy at least one gaffrey art material paint: heavy texture, acrylic color, base coat, or all of the above. Recent purchases (last 30 days) qualify too!
2. Create
Make original artwork inspired by our motto "Don't Eat Paint" - interpret it however you like! The more creative, the better.
3. Share
Post your artwork on Instagram with #donteatpaint and tag @gaffreyartmaterial. Use clear images or reels without filters.
How We Judge
Our staff will select the top 10 entries based on creativity, interpretation of the theme, artistic skill, and overall impact using gaffrey paints.
Public Vote: The top 10 finalists will be featured on our Instagram for public voting. The artwork with the most engagement wins!

What does "Don't Eat Paint" mean for my artwork?
This is our go-to motto, and we'd love to see your spin on it. You could create food-themed art with paint, creative frosting abstracts, or something entirely new. The options are endless, so just enjoy the process!
What Gaffrey products qualify for purchase?
Any prominent Gaffrey Art Material paint counts! This includes our heavy texture, acrylic colors, or base coat collections. If you've made a purchase in the last 30 days, that qualifies too. We have order tags in our POS system to verify entries. No cheating!
Can I enter multiple artworks?
You can enter more than once. Just make sure each piece is a separate post on Instagram with the hashtag #donteatpaint and tag us @gaffreyartmaterial
What if I don't have an instagram account?
Since our competition involves public voting on our Instagram page, having an account is required to participate. This also ensures you can properly tag @gaffreyartmaterial and use #donteatpaint so we can find your amazing artwork!
Do I need to use only Gaffrey paints in my artwork?
We're thrilled to see our products featured in your artwork, but feel free to use any art materials you like. To enter, you'll need to purchase at least one Gaffrey product.
We just ask that one of our paint products be prominently displayed in the finished piece.
