This is a dimensional art board made for heavy texture, acrylic, or mixed media. You can paint on the inside, the outside, or both. It’s a 4x4x4 inch birchwood box with one side open. The other five sides are closed and have finger-jointed edges that are hand-sanded for a smooth finish. Prime it with a layer of base coat or gesso, to prepare it for painting.
