After using the reds and magentas I've purchased from Gaffrey, I was shocked by how underwhelming the ultramarine is. Especially when I compare it side by side with liquitex basic acrylic Ultramarine. This tube of gaffrey Ultramarine seems a little less viscous than the other gaffrey acrylics I've tried so maybe it's a bad tube. I also tried mixing it with a little titanium white and it's still fairly transparent. Makes me sad.
Great product, great service!
This was my second order from Gaffrey and I was very pleased. I really love the heavy acrylic paints, the most. I’m still experimenting with them and find I am having a great time “molding” them. There will be a third order, in the future.
